Dara R. Fairchild is an attorney at Weil & Drage. Her practice includes defense of design professionals in a variety of cases. Dara is well versed in the area of construction defect and the practice of arbitration and mediation, having worked as a complex litigation paralegal and dispute resolution case manager prior to law school. Her responsibilities included examination of construction project documents to prepare the mediator/arbitrator in the proceedings and research of legal particulars to assist in the mediator's or arbitrator's duties in the pending dispute. This experience gave Dara extensive insight into construction-related disputes and underlying design and construction practices. During law school and after, Dara clerked for a family law firm, where she prepared entire cases from beginning to end for a variety of hearings, including but not limited to, divorce proceedings, custody, and conservatorship matters.

During law school, Dara also represented low-income families with family law matters as a certified law clerk through Whittier Law School Children's Rights Clinic and acted as a legal advocate for families at IEP meetings/Dispute Resolution hearings through Whittier Law School's Special Education Clinic.
